It has been a great week for female boxing in the East Midlands region, with Braunstone’s Dione Burman winning gold for England in the world boxing championship which was held on our regions doorstep in Sheffield. Next up the ladies from Chesterfield ABC win a haul of 4 medals, with Cydney achieving Bronze Alexia receiving Silver and both Chan and Kirsty bagging Gold at the Women’s Winter Box Cup. great achievement from the girls for their small yet long established boxing club excellent result for chesterfield, our region and female boxing.
